Description
This is a well maintained, well loved, factory finished cruiser with original gelcoat and good cruising equipment including liferaft, windvane, storm sails, self tailing winches and newer roller furling gear. Accomodations
This Westsail is a factory finished "dinette layout" version. Interior joinery is of teak and mahogany. The forward stateroom has an offset double to port and a single berth to starboard. The enclosed head compartment is to port and is complete with marine toilet, sink, vanity and linen locker. There is a convertable "shower stall" area with a molded in shower pan and full wrap around curtain that stows neatly out of the way when not in use. A hanging locker, bureau and other storage compartments are found opposite the head. The main saloon has a dinette arrangement to port that converts to a double berth, and more storage is found outboard. To starboard you'll find a settee/transom berth with a pilot berth outboard and beneath the seats. There is a pull out "transom berth" seat area to starboard and a big confortable pilot berth above and outboard to starboard. This boat was ordered with the optional ceiling strips of ash on the hull sides which gives her a very warm and finished appearance. The large stand up nav table is in the aft starboard quarter at the base of the companionway and features storage for approx. 600 charts (enough to sail around the world), several more storage lockers. A wet locker and other storage is also found here. The galley is opposite. The overall impression below is of spaciousness and comfort.
