Following the chain locker forward is a V berth, with shelves port and starboard and 4 drawers below. Two portholes, one hatch and AC provide plenty of ventilation to the cabin. There are two reading lights and 2 110 outlets as well. Following that to port is a chest of 4 drawers with a mirrored door hanging locker above that. A door provides privacy and plentiful floor space provide lots of room.
Aft to starboard is another cabin with bunk beds, one hatch and one porthole. Each bunk has a reading light as well as a hanging locker and there is plenty of drawer storage and storage outside along the hull. An accordian door closes this compartment off from the companionway when desired.
Aft to port of the V berth is a head with a seperate stall shower with a teak seat and floor grate. A smoked plexiglass door seperates this area from the rest of the head. A porthole and hatch provide ventilation; there is mirrored cabinet storage above the stainless steel sink as well as additional storage below.
Following the companionway aft and up two steps brings you to the main saloon. To port in the saloon is an end table cabinet w/door, a straight settee and then the aft-facing nav station. Behind are louvered teak door storage above with storage behind and below the settee as well. To starboard is an L-shaped settee with a teak drop-leaf hi/low coffee/dinette table. There is shelf storage outside as well as storage behind and below the settee. There are seven fixed lights and two hatches (all with mini blinds) that make this area feel warm and inviting.
Continuing aft to starboard is the breakfast bar with two swivel chairs. Down two steps and you are in the galley. The Irwin 52 is known for it's huge amount of space and the galley on this boat proves that point yet again. Storage and food prep areas surround you on all sides, while the breakfast bar counter area has you out of the way but still able to participate in the salon activities while you go about your business in the galley.
Continuing aft to port from the nav station you step down into a companionway. The electrical panel is in this area as well as an icemaker along the centerline of the boat, while outside you find a raised dinette area that can comfortably seat 4.
Next aft is the master stateroom with en suite head. The heaad area is to starboard and has a shower with sit down tub, a hatch and porthole for ventilation and plenty of storage. There is also a large mirror behind the sink.
There is a vanity table immediately inside the master cabin, a curved seating area to port, an athwart custom queen mattress with storage and shelving areas absolutely everywhere around you, including three hanging lockers! Six portholes surround you and there are two overhead hatches to catch those summer breezes!
