Accomodations
Lazarra & Gulfstar hit on a winning idea for the cruising couple with the 39'. By producing a 40' vessel without the 2nd stateroom, they were able to achieve a light, bright, spacious interior that beckons the crew below. One's first impression as you step down the companionway ladder, is that you're on a much larger vessel. A tour of the interior starts forward in the owner's stateroom which features a large Vberth with custom 6" cushions, a dressing seat and a hanging locker aft to aft to port and a chest of drawers to starboard. There are numerous bins, shelves and lockers for storage. A private entrance to the ensuite head with separate shower stall (shower drains to sump & pumped overboard) is next aft to starboard. Plenty of room for dressing in front of the vanity and a 2nd head entrance leads to the main salon, thus ensuring privacy to the owner's stateroom. Next aft to port is the galley, featuring a double stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressure water, a gimballed, two burner Shipmate LPG stove with oven, a GoldStar microwave oven and a large cooler with Adler Barbor refrigeration. Pots & pan storage abounds in bins, utensile drawers and dish lockers. This area 1s truly a seagoing gormet's delight. Moving aft from the galley, you step up into the raised salon. To starboard, is a large locker. The large ports provide plenty of light. The salon features a comfortable L shaped dining area to port with a dining table that comfortable seats 4 adults and expands for guests. Opposite is the warm settte which pulls out to a double berth when extra sleeping areas are required. Additonal storage is available in the custom cabinetry that also serves to hide the mast from view in the main salon. Aft to starboard is the large Navigation station with chart surface over the teak desk, drawers and full array of elctronics and electrical panels. Cabin sole is teak throughout the vessel and the bulkheads are varnished teak. the vessel is equipped with reverse cycle heat and air conditioning for the comfort of the crew and the upholstery is a beautiful royal blue.
