Layout
Beautiful Ta Shing workmanship throughout with custom features usually found on boats twice the price. Teak and holly cabin sole. Solid teak stavings on bulkheads and hull ceilings. Satin varnished finish throughout in wonderful condition. Overhead is removable white panels with teak battens. Handholds throughout for safety at sea. Ventilation is more tha adequate from five deck ventilators , six opening ports and five overhead hatches and for those stuffy days, there are 4 Hella fans. When all else fails, simply turn on the air condiitioner. The custom deluxe ultra suede upholstery (2005) is still in great condition. Tremendous interior storage in drawers, lockers, shelves and bins.
Furthest forward is the chain locker accessible from the stateroom. Forward stateroom has a large V-berth with shelves above and storage below. To starboard is a large shelved locker and additional storage. There are drawers and lockers throughout this large airy compartment. The mattress was replaced in 99 with a custom foam "egg crate" mattress and there are 3 sets of custom sheets aboard. A folding door assures privacy. Next aft to port is the large head with mirrored medicine chest, large vanity and electric Jabsco toilet with holding tank. Amidships is the main salon with large U-shaped settee to port that seats six comfortably with an adjustable solid teak dining table and straight settee to starboard which is equipped with lee cloth for a super sea berth. Storage under, behind and above on both sides. The main salon is a luxurious lounging area, with Sony TV, Premiers stereo, Pioneer 10 CD disk changer and 2 Boston speakers. Remotes are included. There is a large vented hanging locker with full length mirror. A brass gimballed oil lamp provides ambience.
Moving aft, step up to the U-shaped galley to port and the forward-facing nav station to starboard. There is lots of storage and counterspace in the galley, and the nav station also has good storage and space for electronic displays, electrical panel, radios, etc. Furthest aft to port is the aft stateroom with pullman berth including great drawer storage under. Opposite to starboard is the roomy head with manual marine toilet, sink and very spacious separate shower stall with wet locker and sitdown bench. The engine compartment is accessible from the shower stall, master stateroom and below the companionway steps.
Galley
Segue's galley is a delight for the cruising gormet. Deep U-shaped sea-going galley with lots of storage and counterspace. Double deep stainless steel sinks with hot/cold pressure water on demand plus manual fresh and sea water foot pumps. Force 10 LPG 2-burner stove/oven/broiler with Marinetics remote solenoid safety switch. Glacier Bay 12v water cooled refrigeration & freezer with front opening fridge. Both boxes are top-loading. There is a GE microwave oven for those quick meals underway and you'll never be short of ice with a separate U line icemaker w/UV light. Overhead is the crystal glass and wine holder. No sense of "camping out" here.

Hull and Deck
SEGUE's hull was Awlgripped Cream & Red in 2003 and looks great. No teak decks to worry about and although the Treadmaster non skid could use a little tweeking, it's fully functional. The Norseman 447AC model has a very roomy and comfortable cockpit. The bench seats and seatbacks are ergonomically designed for comfort. In addition the settees are long enough to sleep on in tropical climes, and the cockpit in general is very well protected. There are four good-sized storage lockers in the cockpit. Like listening to tunes in the cockpit? SEGUE's external speakers are water resistant.
