1984 Tiara Yachts 3100 Convertible

The Tiara 3100 is an upscale flybridge cruiser with attractive lines and good overall performance. She was orginally inroduced in '82 as the 3100 Continental, a designation that lasted through '86. Built on the same hull used for original 3100 Open, the Convertible offers the added comforts of a salon and an enclosed lower helm along with the ability to sleep six persons overnight. The stylish interior is an attractive blend of quality fabrics and teak trim with off-white mica cabinets featured in the galley. This is, in fact, the one of the more appealing layouts to be found in any 31-foot convertible, and most will find it well-suite to the demands of family cruising. Additional features include a good-size cockpit, wide sidedecks, a molded bow pulpit, and decent engine access. The relatively small flybridge has bench seating forward of the helm console for three guests. Standard 454-cid gas engies will cruise the Tiara 3100 Convertible at 20 knots with a top speed of about 29 knots.

Accommodations & Layout
Sleeps 6 (2 in fwd stateroom, 2 fold-out sofa beds in salon and 2 in dinette area). Interior was refurbished in 1997 with new draperies, carpet, new cabinetry for color TV with cable hook-up, new sound system inside and new stereo on flybridge. All interior windows in main salon have been tinted and additional seating in salon added.

Electronics
All electronics installed summer of '97; 24 mile Furuno radar, Low-range depth finder w/speed and temperature, 2 compasses, Low-range DGPS and Std/horizon VHF.

Electrical
12 volt/110 volt with two 30 amp connections. 110 volt system upgraded '97 to split system. One 30 amp for 16,500 BTU A/C heat system and one 30 amp for all other connections. Four batteries, 6.5 KW Onan generator & 50 amp battery charger '98.

Deck & Hull
Flybridge has bimini top with full enclosure and custom built arch for radar and DGPs. Spreader lights and antennas '97. Hull and decks were just detailed and the bottom has a fresh coat of paint. All life jackets. ropes, fenders, ladder for transom and anchor with ropes included.

Mechanical
Automatic CO2 fire extinguisher system, 36 gallon fresh water tank with pump, hydraulic steering, 2 bilge pumps, 2 blowers & Electrasan waste system. The engines were surveyed in 1997 and compression tests completed in 2000. New exhaust risers. Carburetors rebuilt with new air filter, ignition wires & exhaust hoses. Port transmission overhauled May 1999. A/C system control upgraded in 1998
