Entering through the companionway one immediately notices the open and airy feel of the yacht. Headroom is 6’ 2” at the companionway and 5’ 10” at the main bulkhead. Starting forward the yacht features a V-berth that is seven feet long and over 5 feet wide at the head. Moving aft is the head with a vanity to port and portable toilet to starboard, complete with a hanging locker and great storage. The main salon has a bulkhead mounted dining table with settees both to port and starboard with storage underneath and shelves behind. Further aft and to starboard is the galley, featuring hot and cold pressure water, ice box, and Origo 4000 alcohol stove. The aft double berth is to port and features its own port for comfort and brightness. The O”Day 272 sleeps five adults with an extra child’s berth not counted.
