Description
"Sin`e"(Gaelic)is a fully found Freedom 45 designed by Gary Mull for short handed sailing aboard a very comfortable platform. This sailing vessel is considered one of the nicest center cockpit cruising sailboats of its size and can be easily sailed by a couple. If you want to tack or gibe, just turn the wheel as there are no Genoa sheets to tail! She is equipped with a winged keel, a free-standing carbon fiber mast, and a skeg hung rudder. She is offered for sail by experienced sailors who have equipped her with loads of state of the art cruising gear. She has fresh electronics, sails, diesel generator, reverse cycle heat&air, watermaker, SSB, and much more. At a draft of 4'11" the Freedom is a great choice from the Chesapeake to the Bahamas and is capable of much more!
Offered by veteran sailors who are gracefully aging out of bluewater sailing.

Sails and Rigging
The 45 Freedom is easily sailed short handed. She is equipped with a winged keel,a free standing carbon fiber mast, and a skeg-hung rudder. The rigging is in excellent condition. Main and Jib booms are aluminum and in good condition. The Camber Spar allows for easy wing and wing sailing downwind. With the "big main" and jib out to windward you are not likely to require a cruising spinnaker downwind! The working running rigging is lead back to the cockpit and controlled with line stoppers. On the port side are the jib sheet, spinnaker halyard, 2nd reef, 1st reef, and boom vang. On the starboard side are the jib halyard, topping lift, main halyard, and main sheet. All have winches to be hauled in with.
