Preliminary Listing - Additional information and photos coming soon - 8/27/20

Montrachet is a 2C/1H, shoal draft, Island Packet 35.  She’s a “Modern Classic Cruiser” – and built with luxury and comfort in mind.  Her Awlgrip Flag Blue hull is a real head-turner, especially when she is under sail with her spinnaker. She is powered by a masthead, cutter rig, and a 3-cylinder, Yanmar 3HM35F diesel. Her accommodations include a large galley and open main salon, a single head with a separate shower plus lots of storage and elbow room. IP 35s are extremely comfortable in all kinds of conditions aided by a great ballast/displacement ratio and the flexibility of her cutter rig.

Notable Features: Awlgrip Flag Blue hull, Reverse cycle heat and air, Kato davits, dinghy, autopilot, custom stern rail seats, New Cockpit Cushions (2019), New 120 genoa (2019), Custom Code 2 “Jolly Roger” Spinnaker – ARRRRGH

Accommodations

The Island Packet 35 is known for her exceptional livability, common sense design and cavernous storage areas. Beginning at the bow, the Forward Cabin has a large Vee Berth with HandCraft Mattress. There is a hanging locker to starboard and ample storage in lockers and drawers below the berth. Coming aft, the Head is next to port with entrances from both the Forward Cabin and Salon. The Salon has facing settees (the port side converts to a double berth), & a dining table that stores against the head compartment bulkhead when not in use. There is a hanging locker opposite the head compartment, providing storage for the cruising sailor. The large "U" shaped Galley is next and to starboard of the Companionway. This galley is well designed and laid out to be user friendly! It features a huge refrigerated icebox & a double SS sinks plus great storage. The private Aft Cabin is on the port of the companionway and has a hanging locker, cubbies for storage, opening ports and an opening overhead hatch.

The cockpit is large enough for sailing, entertaining, and napping. The 3-inch cockpit cushions and extra-thick helm cushion, all new in 2019, provide comfort when sailing as well as when on the hook or at the dock.
