Accomodations
Pacific Asian Enterprised & Ta Shing's relentless pursuit of perfection is obvious in the interior of MUSIC. She has numerous upgrades and customized interior modifications. As you enter MUSIC'S interior, you are immediately struck by her beauty. Her teak interior is high gloss varnished- so complete, no grain is visible. At the top of the companionway, there is a switch for illuminating night lights. To Port, is a hanging locker, chest of drawers and a mirrored burgh with beautifully inlayed wood work and numerous storage lockers and shelves. Under the sole in this area provides access to the fuel management system and the stuffing box. Exiting the owner's stateroom and outboard to starboard is a wet hanging locker and storage compartments. Forward to starboard is a navigation station with a customized panel, flushmounted navigational electronics and a lower panel housing custom circuit breakers and voltage monitors. The naivigator's table is artestry in its self, as an inlay of hardwoods form a compass rose. The navigator's light has been upgraded to a Ocean Frigast navigation light. There is also a deck prism over the navigation table. To port is a large and open U-shaped galley outfitted with the finest money can buy. Below the sole in the galley houses the freshwater pump, bilgepump and water management. There is custom Cantalupi lighting throughout with spotlights and dimmers. Moving forward and to Starboard there is a settee which has been covered with leather suede by Knoll Fabrics. This settee pulls out to make a double berth. Behind the cushions, lay storage lockers which are lined with heavy vinyl material to eliminate hull sweat. The settee back raises to make a sea berth. Outboard of the settee, there is a custom entertainment locker and additional book shelves and lockers. To Port is the U-shaped dinette, also covered by a leather suede by Knoll Fabrics. The table is totally customized also featuring a harwood inlayed design with a Cantalup spot light above. Behind and above the dinette are generous storage lockers and book shelves. The salon lighting has been upgraded to Ocean Frigast lighting. Proceeding forward to Starboard just forward of the settee is a custom liquor and wine locker with a beveled glass liquor locker and two camphor veneer lined large hanging lockers. To the port is the head with separate F.R.P. stall showe and door. The counter of the head is also marble. There is a geneous supply of storage space and lockers here. The guest stateroom is forward and is fitted with the V-berth configuration. At the foot of the berth is a large double louvered door providing access to the appropriately sized anchor chain locker. There are storage shelves in this locker space too. MUSIC is entirely marine air conditioned and heated for comfort. Ventilation is excellent due to numerous opening portlights, Lewmar Ocean Series deck hatch and dorade vents. The dorade vents have a clever design which provides the ability for controlling just the right amount of air flow needed through the cabin. MUSIC is a work of art in the form of a MASON 44 as PAE stated. "She is the most highly customized and beautifully appointed M44 we have built to date!"

Deck and Hull Equipment
Anchor; bow pulpit with rails; winter covers; bimini top, dodger, cockpit awning; fiberglass deck; freshwater and saltwater wash down system; Avon 6 person offshore liferaft Maxwell 2500 electric windlass; dockinglights; fenders and lines; life jackets/life rings; navigation lights; search light; spreader lights; swim ladder; hull is finished with Imron; hull color is black. The hand laid solid F.R.P. hull is built to Lloyd's + 100AI specifications. Lamination starts with the first three laminations using Vinylester Resins to eliminate hull blistering. Also the lamination alternates 1 woven with one mat through the entire laminate process. This provides a much higher strength to weight ratio. Using 8 full length foam core longitudinal stringers sub-floors and using 3/4" marine ply bulkheads all realates to the most substantial and strongest hull in the industry. The hull to deck joint is beaded in 3M-5200. After the material has gone off, the hull to deck joint is throughly fiberglassed using a heavy laminate schedule for the the entire cirumference of the yachts hull to deck joint. Then the deck and hull is mechanically fastened using machine screws on 8" centers and 3/8" through bolts on 8" centers. At the genoa failead track the joint is hardware is through bolted using heavy stainless steel backing plates. This all makes for the strongest and finest built yacht possible - no one builds any stronger or better! Structural bulkheads are secured with'MARES TAIL' fiberglass rope which is covered with substantial FRP lamination. The bulkheads sit on a hard rubber backing to eliminate "hard spots".. Chainplate knees have substantial stainless steel backing plates and are grounded through the complete bonding system. The underbody of the MASON44 is a full keel design with a substantial cut away in the fore foot. The large rudder provides excellent turning ability and the long keel gives trememdous directional control in all conditions. The rudder sits up four inches from the keel bottom providing a grounding safety assurance and is secured in a place with a heavy bronze shoe. Engine and generator placement is below the saloon sole. This provides quieter running, better access and places the weight low. Another benefit provided by this design, the propeller angle is perpendicular to the water plane due to the level engine which equates to more efficiency and power output. Custom welded stainless steel electronics mast with outboard hoist; Custom teak and stainless steel rails seats; Liferaft; Bottom barrier coated and Micron CSC gold antifoulant; Rub rail with stainless steel cap rail; Insulated hull to 18" below LWL; Acrylic drop board screen for companion way; Screens for all ports and hatches; Freshwater washdown; Saltwater Washdown; Bow pulpit seat with teak grate; Teak flag staff; Second set of spreader lights; Perko boom light; Tri- color mast light with strobe.
