Description
It is rare for this broker to say that any yacht is in such exceptional condition that it could not be improved - but I find that is just about what could be said of "Calliope". In addition, this very highly equiped and lightly used yacht has just been reduced for quick sale!
Some of the highlights follow:
Only 480 hrs on the Yanmar diesel; Central air conditioning; Full B&G electronics with repeaters at the navigation station; B&G autopilot; Adler Barbor refrigeraton; Muir 1200 windlass. The dodger, bimini and sail cover are as new and there are full canvas covers for all hatches; 4kw Fischer Panda generator with only 104 hrs. Bruce King designed this classically beautiful, fast sailing yacht -- Pacific Seacraft built her to exacting standards -- nothing to add or replace. She has my highest recommendation!

Hull and Deck
The entire hull is solid fiberglass laminate with vinylester laminated mat layer behind the gel coat. The hull is reinforced with grid beams that extend from chainplate knees under the mast step. There are multiple grid beams crossing over the keel attachment to provide unusually strong keel support. The lead keel is attached to the hull by stainless bolts through the hull skin and a Tri-Axial Force grid. Pacific Seacraft is known for building exceptionally strong hulls and they have incorporated much of that build into this Ericson 380.
