Accommodations
The Dufour 32 Classic's interior provides great comfort offshore as well as in the marina. All joinery is first choice clear KHAYA mahogany; molded surrounds are solid wood. All soles are marineplywood, laminated on both sides and teak striped. Louvered spacious cabinets and lockers are everywhere! Hinges, latches and hasps are stainless steel. The spacious main saloon features 6'2" headroom and a 6'6" long settee with high density foam cushions and backrests. Ample stowage is located under the settee as well as behind backrests. The fixed dining table has two drop leaves and a bar compartment with cover in the center. A 40 x 40 deck hatch and two portlights of polished stainless steel ensure plenty of light and ventilation. The L-shaped galley with artificial stone work top is to port. The navigation station to starboard is a key feature with chart table & light, navigator's seat with stowage underneath and cabinet under chart table opening towards passageway. The forward cabin features a 6'6" long double berth with shelf all around. There is a spacious locker to starboard and generous cabinet to port. The head compartment to starboard has a double stowage cabinet with countermolded washbasin, pressurized water and flexible shower hose and a manual marine toilet. The aft cabin has a double berth with high density foam, stowage shelves and hanging locker, opening port light, ceiling light, reading spot, and speakers. The Dufour 32 Classic is a seaworthy yacht, made for hard to please owners who love security and to sail both with their family and alone.
