Accommodations
"Azzurra" offers superior internal volume and layout without comprimising her sailing performance. She features a master stateroom with centerline queen berth, small settees port and starboard, large hanging locker, opening hatch for light and ventilation, 2 cabinets w/shelves, ensuite head with shower, storage under bed, shelves forward & sides, 3 overhead lights, reading lights (2), 12v Turbo fan. The (2) guest cabins are aft with bunks (58"wide x 82" long), 2 opening portholes and one hatch, reading lights (2), large lockers and shelving in each cabin. The interior joinery is American cherry stained mahogany which has been treated with polyurethane and then buffed to a shine.

Deck
The deck is a sandwich of fiberglass and balsa.

Teak deck in excellent condition-no screws. Remote handheld for windlass at bow, remote SW for windlass at engine control panel for helmsman. Open bow pulpit with navigation lights. Stainless steel bow fitting with chain rollers, forestay chainplate with genoa tack fitting, mooring cleats w/fairleads, mancor locker, reversing electric anchor windlass, double lifelines with stainless steel stanchions, babystay chainplates, marine aluminum toerail, side cockpit lockers, aft cockpit lazareete, hot and cold shower in the aft transom, bathing ladder integrated in the transom.

Cockpit

Hull
The layup of the hull is carried out manually. This guarantees the correct resin/glass ratio and a consistent structural strength using 14 layers of glass fibre alternating with 15 coats of resin. The hull is strengthened by 8 longitudinal ribs and crossed by 12 transverse ribs and bulkheads.....

The rudder shaft is constructed with 80 mm diameter stainless steel. It rotates on two shaft bearings with a self-aligning ball bearing system which reduces friction to a minimum.

General Comments

A balanced hull shape when heeled, to let her sail in any sea conditions with reduced crew and stay under full control at all times.
Generous sail plan with low wetted surface and very efficient keel/rudder profiles for high speed and good manoeuvrability.
