EXTERIOR VESSEL TOUR

Classic Island Packet lines, a powerful rig, spacious cockpit, easy movement around the decks, and lots of opening ports…You’ll see that this is obviously a passage-making yacht before you even step aboard.

You can easily step aboard at either the port or starboard boarding gates located amidships or from the sugar scoop swim platform stern with a gate that opens up to the helm and cockpit.  The cockpit is almost 7’ long with plenty of room for lots of crew or lounging topsides on a relaxing evening on the hook.  All rigging lines lead aft for easy sail handling, furling, hoisting, and trimming.  The primary and secondary winches are easily reachable from the helm for single-handing.

Wide side decks take you forward to the mast and foredeck. More winches on the mast facilitate hoisting the jib and staysail onto the furlers.  The teak-capped toe rail bridges the modern finishes of Island Packet with that classic yacht feel.

GALLEY

The large U-shaped galley makes cooking and dining a wonderful experience.  So often, yachts have limited counter space due to limited space in a boat’s floor plan…not so with the galley of the 380.  With counter space on either side of the oven and added counterspace over the large double-compartment refrigeration that stretches out underneath the companionway, there is plenty of space to work with here.  The deep storage in the cabinetry along with the added top-loading deep locker, the custom plate and bowl holders aft, and tons of drawer and cabinet space all offer storage for long passages.

  • Alder Barbour refrigeration with dual compartments, dual compressors, separate controls
  • Princess 3-burner stove and propane oven

OWNER'S CABIN FORWARD

The owner’s cabin is forward with a spacious queen-sized centerline v-berth with walk-around cutout spaces for easily getting in and out of bed.  So often, V-berths have to be raised up in order to offer enough hull width for a spacious bed.  Because the hull of the 380 carries so much beam so far forward, the v-berth bed is low and easy to get in and out of.  His and hers storage cabinets lie to both sides of the cabin   There is direct private access to the port head.

  • CruisAir reverse-cycle air conditioning and Espar diesel heat
