Americans got their first look at the new Westerly 43 at the Annapolis Boat Show, and they weren't disappointed. Over and over again we heard visitors proclaim her "the best boat in the show". As gratifying as it is to know that the beautiful carpentry, great layout and attention to detail are appreciated, we know that these visitors only have half the picture because they have not had the pleasure of sailing her! What a treat to sail a boat designed by famous superyacht designer Ron Holland. He used his talents to design a stylish ocean-going yacht designed for long voyages and comfortable family cruising. Accommodations
Elegant varnished teak interior. Forward is a large V-berth with hanging lockers and an en-suite head and shower. The main cabin features a large U-shaped dinette to port and a beautiful teak table with blond inlaid wood. Across from the dineete is a large nav station with a swivel chair, bar and built in TV/VCR. Aft is the master stateroom with a queen size island bed (inner spring mattress), hanging lockers and an en-suite head with separate shower.

Galley
The galley features a Force 10 gimballed three burner propane stove, granite effect worktop with double sinks. Refrigerator/freezer. Lots of storage and work space. Pressure hot and cold water.

Electronics
Autohelm ST7000 Autopilot. Autohelm Windspeed/direction, Multifunction repeater,VHF,Compass.

Electrical
Freedom 20 Inverter. Two 30 amp Shore Power cords.

Sails
A small foretriangle and a direct lead to the self tailing sheet winches make the furling genoa remarkably easy to tack. A fully battened mainsail with single line slab reefing.

Hull &Deck
Forward is a huge locker with steps down. Deck wash down pump. Mast is painted white. Life lines are covered. Teak seats in stern rail. Lewmar winches. Electric halyard winch H40 2 speed. 2 Primary winches: H48 2 speed, 2 Mainsheet and Traveler: H44 2 speed, 1 Genoa Halyard: H30 2 speed. Simpson Lawrence Electric Windlass Sprint 1000 with foot switches. Max Prop. Beautiful navy blue hull. Teak recently finished with Armada teak finish.

Construction
Balsa core using SCRIMP. Swim ladder and swim platform. Semi balanced rudder behind a partial skeg. Lead keel.
