OVERVIEW
SOLARA is a spectactular yacht of unparalleled pedigree! She has spent the last few years circumnavigating and is ready for more safe, comfortable passagemaking (or coastal/islands or Chesapeake cruising for that matter!). Experienced sailors know that turnkey yachts are those which are used and maintained regularly; and SOLARA has been fastidiously maintained by her knowledgeable and meticulous owners.

Accomodations
From the companionway landing, the galley is to port with the nav station to starboard. A full aft suite is just aft of the nav station. The salon has settees to port and starboard. The starboard straight settee serves as a sea berth. The port semi-circular settee has an integral pullout and matching cushion which also serves as leeboard for berth. A centerline table has a wine storage cabinet built into the pedestal. Salon settees are covered in washable & breathable UltrasuedeHP which complements the famous Cabo Rico plantation grown teak hardwood. Fore and aft berths have the same soft fern green UltrasuedeHP. A teak and brass barometer above the nav station reads inches and millibars. Bookshelves, a magazine rack, a spice rack, a clock and several handholds are carefully placed in the galley and salon. Nine 12v Hella fans are strategically located throughout the cabin to provide maximum air circulation with a minimum power draw. Binocular and hand bearing compass cases are mounted beside the companionway.
Dual stateroom layout, each with a queen-sized berth and ample locker storage with locking louvered doors and walled shelving. Full-length framed mirrors in both staterooms. Forward stateroom has drawers, dual storage lockers, and integral round table with storage under seat. Chair converts to berth extension with custom-made insert which replaces upper back cushion. Under forward berth are two very large custom-built storage lockers with easy access. Also under forward berth is the chain locker. Aft stateroom has a wide queen-size berth, hanging locker, and multiple shelf lockers. Under berth is a drawer and additional storage compartments.
Designer interior treatment with beautiful plantation- grown Costa Rican teak hardwood and white fiberglass panels for light and beautiful open and airy interior layout (see photos) enhanced by personally selected fabrics on salon settees and fore and aft berths. The keel-stepped mast is concealed with an attractive teak and fiberglass cover. Lewmar all-ocean rated main and forward hatches provide excellent ventilation while open but are watertight when shut. Numerous opening ports for visibility, light, and ventilation. All hatches have screens. Every possible space was designed to maximize storage and access to all equipment, wiring, and hoses.
All interior cabinets have louvered teak doors with special two-stage pushbutton latches. Padded vinyl headliner provides excellent thermal and acoustic insulation with well over six feet of headroom. All interior doors are beautifully constructed of solid teak hardwood in beautiful paneled and louvered design.
