Description
2000 Caliber LRC (Long Range Cruiser) one of the best, strongest and unique US made cruising sailboats ever built. Easily converted from a sloop to a cutter or vice versa in minutes.
With integral tankage for water (175+ gallons) and Fuel (200+ gallons) the Caliber LRC in effect has two bottoms because the fiberglass tanks below the cabin sole are molded as a part of the hull.

There is an easily accessible fuel panel with plumbing for both fuel tanks with separate fuel filters for each, which is set up so that it is quite easy to switch from one tank to the other while underway(see photo)
For ventilation there are 12 stainless steel opening ports and 7 overhead hatches plus the companionway hatch. If there is the slightest breeze at anchor the Caliber will catch it.
The Caliber LRC was designed and built for cruising offshore or locally.

Aft of the chain locker is the owners in suite head with separate stall shower. Just aft of the head is the owner's stateroom with double pullman berth to port and twin hanging lockers that are cedar lined to starboard. There is also a vanity with mirror and seat, plenty of drawer, shelf and hanging storage throughtout. The main cabin has an L-shaped settee to port, with a fold-down bulkhead mounted table. There is a single settee to starboard and again plenty of storage thought the salon.There is a second head to starbard followed by the aft double cabin. The secure sea Galley is to port and aft of the main salon. Equipped with double stainless steel sinks with hot and cold pressure water. propane stove and oven. Manual fresh and salt water back-up pumps. Custom dish storage also provided. Storage is abundant throughout this area. Aft of the galley, next to the companionway is the well positioned and very secure nav-station.

Starting in the large owner's ensuite head at the bow there is a stall shower with a plexiglass door to port, the a counter with storage cabinet above wrapping around to starboard with a mirror above and a sink below. Further along the starboard side is the manual marine toilet.
Immediately aft of the forward head is the owner's stateroom. There is a large rectangular pullman style double berth to port, with storage below. On the starboard side is a large cedar lined hanging locker and dressing table with a hinged top with a hinged stool below, and a cabinet with a mirrored door above it.
Next aft is the main saloon with a straight long settee to starboard and an L-shaped settee to port which can be converted to a double berth. There is ample storage behind and under both settees as well as shelf storage above. The dining table is stored folded up against teak veneer bulkhead between the main saloon and owner's stateroom. The table folds down to reveal substantial shelf storage behind it. There is a leaf hinged to the center of the table so that when the leaf is open the table spans the cabin.
Aft to port of the L-shaped settee is the L shaped galley, with a stainless steel double sink facing forward, a counter top, double hatch refrigerated ice box in the counter top, and a 2 burner propane stove with storage cabinets above along the port side. There is a vertical row of drawers to the left of the sinks for storing cutlery, silverware, etc.
Further aft of the galley to port is the nav station with the AC and DC electrical panel above. Just behind the navigator's head is an opening port for easy communication with the cockpit. There is a seat for the navigator with storage below it. The nav. desk has a large hinged top for map storage
Directly across from the galley on the starboard side is the second head which is conveniently located adjacent to the main companionway steps. This head has a sink with a pull out shower and a marine toilet. Plus there is a door into the main saloon and another door directly to the aft cabin for guest privacy.
Aft along the starboard side is the guest cabin with a cedar lined hanging locker and storage beneath beneath the double berth. For air there is an opening port to the cockpit foot well and an overhead hatch. This cabin has its own door to the aft head for privacy.
