Description

Since its introduction in 1992, the Tiara 3100 Open has proven to be one of the most popular models in the Tiara line. With over 1200 produced during her production run, the Tiara 3100 Open proved that big boat features are available in a smaller package.

This 2000 rides on the resigned hull of the second generation of the 3100 line. It was changed from a modified-vee to a deep-vee, prop pockets were added and the deadrise was changed to 18º. As a result, the sea-keeping performance was greatly improved.

Style and function come together with the 3100's wood-crafted interior detailing and her fully equipped galley, berths and head. With a huge 12-foot-long stepped cockpit, plenty of space is available for guests. Designed with port and starboard cockpit steps for safer boarding, and the trademark diamond-pattern non-skid from bow to stern, this yacht provides both the style and the safety needed for family and friends. The 3100 Open uses Teleflex hydraulic steering, Morse throttles and shifters and VDO BlueLine gauges.

This Tiara is a bit unique in that she has rarely been fished and was mostly used as a cruiser/ weekender. Whether your plans are to fish, cruise, or both, the Tiara 3100 Open has a large cockpit and very roomy cabin that is well suited for it all!

Here is a fantastic opportunity to own a nice, well-maintained Tiara 31 Open. Call and make an appointment to see her today- be the Early Bird!

Accommodations

Forward stateroom: The huge 32” x 76”x 94” master berth has a massive amount of storage in the forward portion of it and a gas assist lid locker at the aft end for bedding and such. There is a mirror the width of the forward portion of the bunk, with wide fiddled shelves along both hullsides. Concealed lighting behind upholstered soffits runs the length of the hullsides and lends an ambiance to the space. There are two cubbies above the berth on starboard, with a hanging locker and a large cubby above that. There is a curtain track for privacy if so desired. Lighting and ventilation are provided by the under-soffit lights, one reading light, two opening ports with screens and an overhead hatch. The headroom is 6’.

Salon: Next aft on starboard is a C-shaped dinette. The table can be lowered to make an 80” x 44” berth and there is storage beneath the seat cushions. Above and behind is a shelf area, with another fiddled shelf above that. At the aft end of the dinette are the electrical panels and two storage cubbies. There are two opening lockers above the dinette. Lighting and ventilation in the dinette area are from one LED light, two opening ports with screens and one overhead hatch. The headroom is 6’2”. Dinette cushions need to be replaced.

Galley: The galley is on port across from the dinette. The counters are laminate with teak fiddles. At the forward end is a stainless-steel sink with a cooktop aft of that. Beneath are three drawers and a locker. Above and behind the counter is a locker with sliding doors and a fiddled shelf above. There is an opening port in the hullside and an overhead hatch for ventilation. Above the port are two lockers with drop-down doors. At the aft end of that space is an upright refrigerator, with shelf space and a microwave above that. Headroom is 6’2”.

Head: Entry to the head is at the base of the companionway on port. The entire space is modular for easy wipe-down. As you enter, the head is immediately on the right, with the sink after that. There is a locker beneath the sink and a cubby space along the hullside. Lighting and ventilation are from one overhead LED light and one opening port with a screen.

Bridge deck: Entering the bridge deck from the cockpit there is an L-shaped seating area on port. On starboard is the double helm seat, with an aft-facing seat behind it. There is lots of storage beneath all of the bridge deck seating. At the forward end of the settee are chart storage and cup holders. There is top access to the engine compartment through the bridge deck sole. The entire bridge deck will raise to provide full access to the engine. Additionally, the helm console is hinged and will tip forward for easy servicing access to all the electronics and engine controls.
