Description

Boston Whaler has a surprise for you: The Boston Whaler Conquest 295 is as much a yacht as fishing machine! That's right, a Boston Whaler with a teak and holly sole! The Boston Whaler 295 Conquest is the perfect boat for cruising and weekending. MERMAID EXPRESS has been used as a gentleman's express cruiser, crawling the creeks and coves of the Chesapeake Bay. She offers comfort in ample quantity in a package with legendary build quality and excellent finish.

MERMAID EXPRESS boasts fuel efficient twin, gas powered, 225 hp Mercury outboards. She has an expansive cockpit, swim platform, and retractable boarding ladder. Her transom door allows easy access to the boat from the swim platform, or to boat your next trophy fish. Her helm deck provides excellent visability. This mid-cabin design allows for a very functional cabin with galley, convertible dinette/V-berth, and another expansive berth under the companionway. Her head in enclosed with stand-up room.

NOTE TO ANGLERS: You buddies will be jealous! The Boston Whaler Conquest 295 offers not only yacht-like comfort, she bespeaks fishing machine. Expansive cockpit space means you have plenty of room for manuevering rods and fighting fish. A 30 gallon above deck livewell for live lining is within easy reach. Her cockpit coaming is bolstered (not to be ashamed of tough guy), and she offers two in deck fish boxes. You won't be stumbling over rods and gear either. The Conquest 295 has under gunwale rod racks and built in tackle draws. She even has a rear facing seat behind the helm and a retractable seat in the cockpit, which folds into the transom.

Boston Whaler has been making boats since 1958. Remember when the company's president appeared in the famous photo with the boat cut in half? Thanks, to the Unibond construction, which is essentially two FRP skins with foam core, Boston Whaler says their boats are "unsinkable." Having spent most of my childhood roaming the Chesapeake in a 13 foot Whaler, I think I proved them right on several occassions!
