MOONDANCE is a well maintained, lightly used Catalina 390. Notable features are: shallow draft (4'10" wing keel) 6'3" headroom, inmast furling, Raymarine radar/chartplotter, Raymarine belowdeck autopilot, aluminum arch with provision for dinghy davits, dodger & bimini.
This three stateroom layout is convenient for 3 couples or cruising with children. MOONDANCE has a U shaped galley, not a side galley like most European three stateroom boats. Catalina hit the mark with this model. You will be impressed with her condition. This is not and never was a charter boat!

The Catalina 390 is the result of requests for a three-stateroom configuration in a Catalina yacht under 40 feet. The 390 is essentially a three cabin 380...The forward cabin presents a berth that is 6 feet, 3 inches wide by 6 feet, 5 inches long. This an unusually large double berth which has two large drawers with roller bearing glides beneath it. A sink and vanity are to port.
The main salon area features a dining table with leaf extension.The Galley is L Shaped and has all the standard features of a two cabin layout - stainless steel, center-line, double sink. NO Galley Compromises!
Aft are port and starboard staterooms with ample storage space. There is 6 feet, 8 inches of headroom at each entrance and each berth measures a 6 feet, 4 inches long.
This layout is great for kids as they have separate cabins. Another option is to use one cabin for storage or, with some carpentry work, one cabin could be converted to a workshop.
