Accommodations

The Tartan 3700 has a fabulous layout.  This is truly a two couple boat, as the aft cabin OR forward cabin can be used as the master.  You don't find that often in a 37 footer.  But remember, this is no typical 37 footer.  That Tartan 3700 is more often compared to her competitors 40 footer.  She is a modern Jackett design with a lot of beam carried aft, but also full sections forward allowing for a good sized forward bunk, but it is nice and low because there is a enough hull form to get the tankage drawer storage all under a vee berth that doesn't need to be crawled into!

The salon is comforatble and the centerline table acomodates 4 comfy or you can squeeze in six - Just remember the old adage...Cocktails for 8 - dinner for 4 & sleeping for 2...

The nav station can act as a full function mobile office, with a large desk surface withlifting lid and a bank of drawers as well. Again - generally a feature you find on the over 40 competitors!

Galley has a a centerline double SS sink, huge icebox with refrigeration, top and front opening doors.  Most 3700s have room for a microwave in the aft galley locker. with lots of locker drawer and pantry storage.

The head is good sized and has and enclosed shower stall w/ seat.  Three outboard storage lockers with a clever flip-up shaving / make up mirror.

The aft cabin has hanging and shelf bureaus an almost centerline bunk which accomodates a couple pretty comfortably.

The Tartan 3700 won Crusing World's Boat of the Year Contest as well as Sail Magazine's Top 10 Boats for 2000...With a 12+ year production runand over 160 built, it is no surprse that the magazine's loved the 3700 - Her cruising performance, elegant accomodations and smart design are just a few of the reasons, you'll be the envy of your marina.
