Description
Cruising World "Boat of the Year - Best Value" Award
That about says it all "Boat of the Year"! Quite the honor from a dedicated world cruising magazine covering new models that are best in class.
The main characteristics of the Beneteau 373 are good speed to get you where you're going, sea kindly motion if you get stuck out in it, great design and systems to make being underway, at anchor or tied up to a dock fun and comfortable.
Several judges highlighted what they thought were exceptional features especially in a 37 footer.
One judge loved the patented Giot 90 degree pivoting wheel allowing an easy fore and aft walk way in the cockpit.
Another judge highlighted the standup stall shower with a seat if needed. Lots of head room in this shower.
Another also commented on the overall headroom of 6ft 3in as remarkable in a 37 foot sailboat.
Several judges commented on a very unique design feature, that being the fiberglass grid the full length of the hull providing great strength, rigidity and load bearing capacity for this yacht. It is now being used in both Beneteaus and Jeanneaus.
How about the 3 fixed port lights in the main salon providing light and brightness throughout the cabin top in the salon area, all with blinds if needed.
Yes, this is a yacht designed for cruising whether in the Chesapeake Bay, off-shore or down in the Caribbean.
She is a Cruiser's cruiser. Give us a call to see her.
