Description

Out of Marblehead, Massachusetts sprung "E" Sailing Yachts with this special boat, inspired by the longtime success of the Etchells One Design Class. She offers a blend of performance sailing with basic comforts on a distinctly modern platform. The cockpit will accommodate five/six adults comfortably but is arranged to sail single handed. Robbie Doyle and Jeremy Wurmfeld envisioned a boat that could win a Wednesday Night Race and then serve as an overnighter on the following Friday. "Encore" will be a welcome addition to any waterfront.

comments
E-Sailing is an exciting venture based on the collaboration of Naval Architect Jeremy Wurmfeld and iconic Sailmaker Robbie Doyle. The E-33 is an elegant DaySailor with classic good looks, set up to sail easily with one or two people, yet with a huge cockpit that will easily accomodate two families for an evening sail. The underwater foils are modern and the Carbon Spars sport laminate sails. The main drops into a Stackpack and the jib furls onto a Harken headstay.
"Encore" is offered for sale by a racing skipper who is Past Commodore of the Sailing Club of the Chesapeake and a former National Champion in the J44 One-Design Class. Earlier in his life he raced and cruised a Ted Hood designed 40 footer, garnering a large share of silver and pewter. So being no stranger to traditional design parameters the "E"-33 was a logical choice to sail with children and grand children. He offers "Encore" for sale in turn-key condition for the 2009 sailing season.
