Description

If you are looking for a pocket cruiser: Look no more!!!
If you are looking for a salty daysailor: You Have found it!!!
If you want a boat you can trailer sail: This is it!!!

This Pacific Seacraft 25 is a superbly finished, rugged boat that can be sailed anywhere. The boat was responsible for the early success of the Pacific Seacraft Company and established its reputation as the builder of seaworthy and well thought-out boats capable of crossing oceans. This Pacific Seacraft 25 features a hand-laminated hull and deck, with the hull through-bolted to the deck, bonded and then reinforced with fibreglass for maximum strength. All interior bulkheads and furniture are securely bonded to the hull, and the rudder is solidly attached to the hull with custom bronze gudgeons. Her interior has beautiful joinery work with varnished teak and ash, and numerous custom features to maximize living space. The mast is deck stepped and set up so that two or three people can step and unstep the mast in the water. The owners sailed it in the Great Lakes and throughout the Caribbean to Venezuela before returning to live in the Chesapeake Bay. Now the boat has undergone an extensive refit - the Yanmar diesel engine was completely rebuilt in 2006, and the boat is equipped with new running and standing rigging, new sails and canvas, new stainless steel chain plates, new Awlgrip paint and numerous other improvements. This boat not only sails superbly but is a work of art!

Interior
The interior of the Sea Otter is beautifully finished with traditional wainscoting on the bulkheads and varnished teak and ash. She has teak cabinets and trim throughout, a fold-down teak dining table, and custom louvered doors. Varnished ash strips line the ceiling and shelves in the cabins. Because the boat was designed for cruising, she has the storage of a much larger boat as well as an extra-large v-berth sleeping area. Polished bronze elliptical opening ports provide superior light and ventilation.
