Description
"BELUGA" is a Jay Benford designed, double ender with a cutter rig. She was one of 6 Neptunes built my Master Mariner Corp in the 80's. The underbody features a skeg protected rudder and a modified keel with a large aperture between the keel and the skeg allowing her to sail much like the better known Crealock designs built by Pacific Seacraft. Taiwanese construction means nice joinerwork below. This is a sturdily built vessel, prepared to go to sea.

Accomodations
The forward guest cabin is large and airy with an offset double to port with storage underneath, a dressing seat, large hanging locker to port and lockers with drawers underneath to starboard. Light and ventilation is provided by a 12v fan and opening hatch with full screen. Next aft is the main salon with U shaped dinette to port with a centerline dining table that seats 6 adults comfortably. To starboard is a traditional settee which converts to a sea berth with lee cloth. Next aft to port is the U shaped galley with overhead dish lockers, a two burner lpg stove with griddle and oven with broiler. There is a large stainless steel double sink with pressure water and manual fresh and salt water back up pumps. FRIGIBOAT refrigeration and separate deep freezer in well insulated boxes. Cooking odors and fumes are handled by a fan and exhaust pipe travelling to the coach roof top. To starboard is the spacious head with separate foot tub and stall shower. Next aft to port is the owner's cabin. This features a double berth with hanging locker and loads of storage. To starboard of the companionway ladder is the opening to the work room containing a bech and vise with access to the engine compartment as well as a pass through to the aft storage area. This unique layout is a cruiser's or livaboard's delight. The boat is ducted for air conditioning but neither of her two owners have felt the need to install it. There are 15 opening ports, 3 dorade vents and 4 hatches providing light and ventilation throughout. In addition to the standard interior lighting, there is floor lighting throughout the vessel.
