Vessel Walkthrough
"Moth" is a perfect cruising yacht for a small family or two couples. There is a rich, hand rubbed teak interior with white accents. Ten large opening ports, a deck hatch and a companionway admit plenty of light and fresh air. Two settees port and starboard. They double as 7' midships sea berths. Teak storage lockers, drawers, bins, and book shelves hold personal gear. A large dining table slides from beneath the V-berth with room for six, and disappears when not in use. The large V-berth is 6'6" long, has shelves and lockers port and starboard and drawers underneath. Aft to starboard is a head with sink, shower and wet locker as well as a teak locker for toilet items. The bulkheads are finished in white formica for easy care. There is a remarkable amount of stowage space in the port side galley. Lockers and drawers are above and below a counter area which accommodates a deep, double stainless sink, stainless stove with oven and cover and a cutting board. Opposite the galley is a huge, well insulated icebox and a hanging locker with teak louvered door. The navigation area, with chart table cleverly built over the icebox, has a tilt out drawer for small items and a chart storage locker. A master control panel includes DC and AC circuit breakers, a volt meter and polarity test. Aft, under the cockpit is a large double berth with shelf and curtain.
