Interior
There is 6'1" headroom throughout this open interior, an interior fully fifty percent larger than other boats of similar length. There are eight bronze ports and a large forward hatch, all of which contribute to a feeling of spaciousness. Appointments are luxurious with meticulously crafted teak joinery with teak and holly sole. Starboard and port settees convert into 6'6" berths, with some extra foot room below the forward berth. The forward cabin also features a 6'6" long v-berth that is a generous 6'9" wide. There is a pullout dining table that fits neatly around the compression post and retracts under the V-berth. The head combines teak with easy-care Formica covered bulkheads. This compartment features a marine head, shower, hinging storage for wet gear, plus a convenient mirror.

Hull and Deck
The Dana 24 provides the same feeling of security and safety associated with much larger boats. The deck is completely surrounded by bulwarks, a full five inches at the bow and topped by a custom-fitted teak caprail. Double rail, stainless steel bow and stern pulpits and 27" high stanchions support sturdy lifelines. For added security there are four thru-bolted teak handrails that run the lengh of the cabin top. The cockpit has 6'3" long seats that are perfect for sunbathing or snoozing. Her high coamings offer protection from wind and water while her integral winch islands allow for convenient and efficient sail handling. Large seat lockers provide plenty of storage for sails and crusing gear. A high bridge deck adds to her structural integrity and watertightness in stormy weather, while two over-sized cockpit drains allow fast self-bailing. Horizon 500 windlass.
