"Celtic Cross"
1993 Pacific Seacraft Crealock 34
Specifications
Description
Pacific Seacrafts have long been known as one of the finest production built cruising sailboats on the market. Take a close look at this Pacific Seacraft 34 and you will understand why they have earned that reputation. Her elegant design and sea kindly lines will be appreciated by all those who lay eyes on her, or are fortunate enough to sail aboard her.
Her Scheel keel performs very well on all points of sail while giving the boat a shallow draft of only 4'2". This combined with her hull shape provides a very comfortable ride in even rough seas and high winds.
The current owners of this boat have been meticulous with her maintenance and have upgraded her in ways that you are sure to appreciate.
Understanding the heritage and the philosophy behind the Pacific Seacraft 34 is relatively easy. You need look only as far as the Pacific Seacraft 37. Clearly a slightly smaller sister, the Pacific Seacraft 34 is a refined sibling boasting the same seagoing capabilities, the same beauty and the same adherence to the control and comfort of her owner.
Indeed, control and comfort have been central to the entire design of the Pacific Seacraft 34. Hulls with easy overhangs make for fast and comfortable ocean passages. Owners report that her canoe stem enables her to maintain surfing speeds under complete control. Her underbody has earned a reputation for close windedness. And her balance under sail builds confidence – even in those who are not greatly experienced.
And because man does not live on deck alone, the 34's interior provides a neat functional arrangement with efficient quarters for the cook, for the navigator and for all who demand comfortable living as well as excellent sailing.
From the quality of the laminate to the strength of the rudder to the hand rubbed teak joinery in the cabin, the Pacific Seacraft 34 will take you to sea with safety, efficiency and a touch of elegance.
Our offering, "Celtic Cross", has been very well maintained, well equipped and will certainly not disappoint. Since she came into brokerage, however, a couple of exterior cosmetic issues have reared their head and the owner has reduced the price accordingly. If you are in the market for a proven cruising sail boat in this size range you owe it to yourself to take a very close look at this one! She is certainly worthy of your time to inspect her.

At 6'6" long and 5'11" at it widest point, it is a generously sized berth and has storage beneath it, including three drawers. Along the hullsides are fiddled shelves with rich teak staving behind. A double door hanging locker is to starboard with a shelf above. Light and ventilation is generous, with a pair of reading lights (one an Alpenglow LED), an overhead light, a Caframo fan, overhead hatch and three opening ports. There is a privacy door that doubles for stateroom and the head.
Head: To port across from the hanging locker is the head. There is storage behind the head and counter as well as beneath the sink. A teak shower grate, teak framed mirror and numerous teak handholds provide a functional yet rich feeling. Ventilation is provided by an opening port and dorade vent.
Saloon: Moving aft into the saloon there are straight settees, each with a bookshelf and cabinet storage behind it. The port settee easily converts to a comfortable double berth. The bulkhead mounted table opens the cabin space up when not in use, seats six when down and has storage on shelves behind it. The area is bright and well ventilated, with easy to maintain white laminate coach roof sides, a pair of Caframo fans, six opening ports, an overhead hatch, overhead and four reading lights. The insulated, padded headliner has zippers for easy access to deck hardware and wiring and does a remarkable job of keeping the cabin comfortable on a hot day.
Galley: Aft on port is the U-shaped galley. A true seagoing space with good bracing points, it features a large double stainless steel sink, hinged top refrigerated ice box access and a Force 10 stove. A hardwood chopping insert fits in the sink, while another covers the trash bin and dry box storage space. A unique tip-out dishware bin cleverly stows plates and bowls out of sight and additional storage is located beneath the sink and outboard of the counters and stove.
Nav station: Across from the galley is the nav station. There is a Raymarine color radar/chartplotter unit here as well as at the helm. There is also an instrument repeater and second autopilot control head here. The electrical panel is hinged and provides excellent access for maintenance. The nav top area is good and there is wet locker storage beneath it. Seating is provided by the quarter berth located behind it.

The teak joints are hand fitted with butterfly joints. The 30" high double lifeline stanchions are mounted on the bulwarks to resist moisture intrusion into the deck. The deck hardware is all larger than found on most vessels and is all chrome plated solid bronze- nothing but the best.
