Accommodations
The spacious interior layout includes berths for seven with a double berth in the quarter cabin to starboard, a convertible dinette to starboard in the main salon (with a settee/berth opposite) and a V-berth in the forward cabin. Plenty of light and ventilation is provided by 11 opening ports (with screens), 2 dorades and 4 Bomar hatches. The engine room (accessible aft of the companionway ladder or through the gasketed cockpit sole hatch) is well insulated for noise and heat. The aft stateroom features full standing & sitting headroom for easy dressing and maneuverability, a large, hanging locker and a mirrored forward bulkhead. The head compartment, aft to port, has a Groco electric/manual head, a vanity sink with generous storage, a wet locker and a luxurious, modern full size shower compartment. The navigation station, forward of the head, has an oversized desk for spreading out charts and storing material and generous drawer space under the desk and seat. The u-shaped galley (see below), just opposite the nav station, is designed with ample drawer and locker storage, deep centerline sinks and spacious Corian counters. The main salon has a solid teak dinette table with a detachable folding leaf (which extends to the port settee). The table can be lowered for use as a double bunk. Champagne Azure upholstery, elegant satin varnish joinery and louvered locker doors create warmth & harmony. Chrome bronze push button locks have been installed on all locker doors and drawers as well as positive locks on cabin sole boards. The forward stateroom provides a quiet spacious double berth and plenty of room to stow personal items, including a locker to starboard and a three drawer bureau under the berth with lockers outboard. Six Hella fans and Espar diesel (forced air) heat throughout help make "Windaway" a truly comfortable year-round yacht.

REMARKS
"Windaway" has been a dream come true for her original owners who are reluctantly selling her only due to health limitations. She has seen only light use (400 engine hours) on the Chesapeake. From her varnished brightwork to her sturdy Pacific Seacraft rig and turbo Yanmar she has been meticulously equipped and maintained both cosmetically and mechanically. At over $430,000 in current replacement cost, "Windaway" is truly a unique opportunity for the discriminating, cruising yachtsman seeking enduring value.
