The 36.2 is an extremely comfortable boat below. The layout is designed for practical and comfortable cruising, and there is an exceptional use of available space. This boat is the two cabin version.
Starting forward, there is a 6'6" long berth located on centerline forward. There is a vanity with a wash basin on starboard, storage cabinets located above and below it. On port there is a large hanging locker. Additional storage is located beneath the berth and there is a vanity mirror for dressing. Lighting and ventilation is provided by a pair of reading lights, a 12 volt fan, two opening ports and an opening overhead hatch.
Moving aft, on starboard there is a U-shaped dinette, which converts to a spacious double berth. Across on port is a straight settee, the aft end of which serves as the aft facing nav station seat. Behind and below the cushions on both sides there is a generous amount of storage, while behind and above on each side is a shelf with a portlight above each and a drop down cabinet on each end. The nav station has a hanging locker with a shelf above it behind the table top. Aft of the dinette, the galley is L-shaped and boasts a generous amount of counter space for preparing meals. Ther is a large double sink, two burner stove with oven and refrigerated ice box. There is storage located below the sink and on the outboard side of the galley area. The entire saloon and galley area has an overhead hatch, three opening ports and numerous fixed lights for lots of light and ventlation.
Aft of the nav area on port is the head. The sink area has a drop down vanity mirror with storage behind it and below the sink. The shower and head are separated from this area by a plexiglass door. Both areas have an opening port; the shower area also has a hanging locker for foul weather gear.
Behind the galley is another large berth- 6'5" wide and from 6' to 7'4" tall- with three opening ports, reading lights, a Hella fan and a hanging locker, with more storage beneath the berth.
