"Buoy N' Sea"
1998 Pacific Seacraft Crealock
Specifications
Description
Her Scheel keel performs very well on all points of sail while giving the boat a shallow draft of only 4'2". This combined with her hull shape provides a very comfortable ride in even rough seas and high winds.
The current owners of this boat have been meticulous with her maintenance and have upgraded her in ways that you are sure to appreciate.
Understanding the heritage and the philosophy behind the Pacific Seacraft 34 is relatively easy. You need look only as far as the Pacific Seacraft 37. Clearly a slightly smaller sister, the Pacific Seacraft 34 is a refined sibling which boasts the same seagoing capabilities, the same beauty and the same adherence to the control and comfort of her owner.
Indeed, control and comfort have been central to the entire design of the Pacific Seacraft 34. Hulls with easy overhangs make for fast and comfortable ocean passages. Owners report that her canoe stem enables her to maintain surfing speeds under complete control. Her underbody has earned a reputation for close windedness. And her balance under sail builds confidence – even in those who are not greatly experienced.
And because man does not live on deck alone, the 34's interior provides a neat functional arrangement with efficient quarters for the cook, for the navigator and for all who demand comfortable living as well as excellent sailing.
From the quality of the laminate to the strength of the rudder to the hand rubbed teak joinery in the cabin, the Pacific Seacraft 34 will take you to sea with safety, efficiency and a touch of elegance.
Our offering, "Buoy N'Sea", has been very well maintained, well equipped and will certainly not disappoint. If you are in the market for a proven cruising sail boat in this size range you owe it to yourself to take a very close look at this one! She is certainly worthy of your time to inspect her.

Starting forward, there is access to the chain locker, followed by the master berth. At 6'6" long and 5'11" at it widest point, it is a generously sized berth and has storage beneath it. Along the hullsides are fiddled shelves with rich teak staving behind. A cedar lined double hanging locker is to starboard with a shelf above. There are a pair of JBL speakers and a remote safety switch which turns on the spreader lights. Light and ventilation is generous, with a pair of reading lights, an overhead light, a Hella fan, hatch and three opening ports.
To port across from the hanging locker is the head. There is storage behind the head and counter as well as beneath the sink. A teak grate, teak framed mirror and numerous teak handholds provide a functional yet rich feeling. Ventilation is provided by an opening port and dorade vent.
Moving aft into the saloon there are straight settees, each with a lee cloth and bookshelf and cabinet storage behind it. The port settee easily converts to a comfortable double berth. The centerline drop leaf table provides sturdy handholds when moving through the cabin, easily seats four and has three storage compartments inside it. The area is bright and well ventilated, with easy to maintain white laminate coach roof sides, a pair of Hella fans, six opening ports, an overhead hatch, five chrome overhead and four reading lights. The insulated, padded headliner has zippers for easy access to deck hardware and wiring and does a remarkable job of keeping the cabin comfortable on a hot day. A flat screen TV is located on the forward bulkhead and a pair of high quality stereo speakers provide entertainment when you want it.
Aft on port is the U-shaped galley. A true seagoing space with good bracing points, it features a large double stainless steel sink, hinged top refrigerated ice box access and a Force 10 stove. A hardwood chopping insert fits in the sink, while another covers the trash bin and dry box storage space. A unique tip-out dishware bin cleverly stows plates and bowls out of sight and additional storage is located beneath the sink and outboard of the counters and stove.
Across from the galley is the nav station. At a glance one sees it is extremely well equipped for cruising. The electrical panel is hinged and provides excellent access for maintenance. The nav top area is good and there is wet locker storage beneath it. Seating is provided by the quarterberth located behind it.
True ocean voyaging vessels are constructed to a higher standard- inside and out- and when you step inside the Pacific Seacraft 34 every detail supports that fact. It is well insulated, the surfaces are easy to maintain, there are good handholds and fiddles where you need them for safe movement at sea. An understated elegance and a warm, comfortable feeling makes you immediately feel at home in this living space.

When you step aboard a Pacific Seacraft, it is obvious why they have the excellent reputation that they do. There are substantial bulwarks with a heavy teak cap rail. The teak joints are hand fitted with butterfly joints. The 30" high, double lifeline stanchions are mounted on the bulwarks to resist moisture intrusion into the deck. The deck hardware is all larger than found on most vessels and is all chrome plated solid bronze- nothing but the best. The list goes on and on, reinforcing with every item the quality, strength and safety crafted into every boat.
