"HENRY TOO"
1999 Hunter 310
Specifications
Description
The Hunter 310 was designed by the Hunter Design Team and first built in 1997 by Hunter Marine in Florida. The Hunter 310 design evolved into the Hunter 320 in 2000. It is one of Hunter's most popular designs, well suited for family cruising but easily single-handed.
If you are looking for a mid-size cruiser with an innovative design, excellence in engineering, and an incredible layout, then this Hunter 310 is for you. The 310 is the most advanced mid-size cruiser on the market! The interior boasts two private staterooms, each with their own privacy bulkhead, not just a curtain. The large dinette easily converts to a double berth and the settees offer plenty of storage as well. There’s plenty of natural light, with multiple hatches, screened ports and Hunter’s signature wrap-around windshield.
Topsides, the 310 has an immense rounded cockpit that allows all the crew to participate or simply relax as they desire. The stern rail seats are up and out of the way. The custom console with drop leaf tables houses the instruments as well as the engine controls. The helm seat hinges aft, leading onto the walk-through transom, with a retractable swim ladder and cockpit shower. Above the cockpit is the integrated arch which serves as an attachment point for both the mainsheet as well as the bimini. This keeps the cockpit clear, uncluttered and ready for action
HENRY TOO is clean, well maintained, well equipped and a fine example of what you might expect to see in viewing a very lightly used cruiser of this type. She certainly doesn’t show her age. What she does show is pride of ownership and is absolutely priced right for someone who recognizes quality and value.
Don't wait too long on this one! Call and make an appointment to see her today- sailing season will be here before you know it!
Details 1
Forward stateroom:The forward cabin has a 6’6” long berth that can either be an offset single or, with the insert filler, be a full width V-berth that is 54” wide. The water tank as well as a storage space are located forward under the berth, while to starboard beneath it is a locker with shelving. On port there is a cedar lined hanging locker with a fiddled shelf above it. Entry to the space is via double doors. There is a pass-thru opening on port between the saloon and the cabin, which makes for great flow-thru ventilation. The louvered door in that opening can close the space off when desired. Lighting and ventilation is provided by overhead lights, a fan and an overhead hatch. Headroom is 5’8”.
Saloon:It’s amazing how much space Hunter can fit in a boat and the 310’s saloon proves it once again. With 6’3” headroom, lots of light and Hunter’s signature windshield it makes the space seem quite spacious.
The port settee is 6’1” long and has a tank in the forward part and some storage in the aft part beneath the seat. The starboard seat, also 6’1” long, has machinery at the aft end and storage at the forward end beneath the seat. Both settees have a continuous shelf space behind them the length of the seat and a fixed light in the hullside. At the forward end of the starboard settee is a cubbie, with a fiddled counter space above that and top loading storage.
The dinette table has a drop leaf on the corridor side and can seat three easily with the leaf down or five with it up. The table drops down to convert the starboard settee into a nice double berth.
Galley: The spacious U-shaped galley is located at the base of the companionway on starboard. The laminate countertops are framed by teak fiddles, which also partition off areas of the counter to keep things contained in a seaway. Along the aft end is the refrigerated top-loading icebox. Moving around to the hullside, there is a two-burner stove, with a large locker beneath it and cubbie space below that. When new, there was a factory option the original owner chose not to get, which was a gimballed stove and oven. The space is set up for it, so it would be a fairly simple conversion to make should you choose. To the left of the stove/locker configuration is a stack of three drawers. Above the counter along the hullside are three drop-front door lockers and the microwave, providing plenty of storage.
Continuing around towards centerline is the sink, with double doors below it. That space is housing the air conditioner. Suspended above the sink counter is a fiddled shelf unit which has dish organizers built in to hold coffee mugs, bowls and plates. Headroom in the galley is 6’3”. There are two overhead lights, a fan, two fixed portlights and one opening port.
Head: Located across from the galley on port, the head is unitized fiberglass construction, which makes wipe-down easy. There is 6’1” headroom; as you enter the head is to your left and the radiused Corian countertop and sink towards your right. There is a locker beneath the sink and a mirrored drop-front medicine cabinet above. There are two overhead lights, which augment the two fixed lights and an opening port, with additional ventilation from a fan.
Aft stateroom: Entry to the aft stateroom is on port at the base of the companionway. As you enter, there is 6’2” headroom. A double doored cedar hanging locker is along the hull, with over/under cubbie spaces aft of that. There’s a fiddled shelf above all of this, with the ship’s electrical panels above that. The queen size berth is athwartships, with a backrest area at the head of the bed. Behind that as well at the foot of the bed there are fiddled shelves that run the width of the berth. The space is ventilated by two opening ports and a fan. Additional lighting comes from one fixed portlight, three overhead lights and a pair of reading lights.
